Effective Collaboration & Coordination Can End Homelessness
Since its creation in 1996, the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland has championed efforts to advance housing stability and end homelessness in Cuyahoga County. The foundation has focused its investments on building and sustaining effective collaborations that center the leadership of individuals most impacted by homelessness to promote authentic and relevant solutions to homelessness. Beyond grant support, the foundation remains deeply engaged in the work and identifies opportunities to leverage technical assistance and other capacity building to strengthen the collaboration. In addition, we support advocacy for just housing policies that ensure adequate public investment in equitable approaches to homelessness.
Strategic Goal
To end homelessness in Cuyahoga County by promoting systems change and organizational and partnership capacity.
- Through ongoing support and partnership, sustain progress toward ending chronic homelessness in Cuyahoga County.
- Build data and collaborative capacity among partners to end youth homelessness in Cuyahoga County, with a focus on system-involved youth, youth of color, LGBTQ youth and young families.
- Leverage relationships and contribute to national movement building to bring technical assistance, resources and best practices to ending homelessness in Cuyahoga County.
