The Ministry Leadership Program is a unique year-long opportunity for emerging leaders (ages 22-35) at sister-led or sister-founded schools and colleges throughout Northeast Ohio. Through monthly workshops, participants will focus on leadership, spirituality and learning through intergenerational relationships.
Monthly workshops will cover topics that relate to ministry in sister-led or sister-founded schools, social justice, prayer practices and spiritual development and other tools. Participants and sister companions are expected to attend all workshop sessions.
Participants will be matched with a sister companion who will serve as a mentor and adviser throughout the program. This pairing will provide an intergenerational formation experience around faith, spirituality, and ministry. The participant and sister companion will meet once a month at the participant’s place of employment for fellowship and discussion. They will also work together to develop a mission integration project for the participant’s school.
Participants will work in partnership with their sister companion to develop a project or program that will enhance mission integration at the participant’s school. Participants will receive a one-time grant to implement their plans during the school year.
