2018-MadonnaGarden-139-Edit-LOWRES (1)

The Ministry Leadership Program serves emerging leaders (ages 22-35) at mission-driven schools, colleges, and non-profit organizations that have a commitment to improving the lives of individuals who are marginalized and/or living in poverty. Together, sisters and young adults will participate in monthly workshops that focus on leadership, spirituality, and learning through intergenerational relationships with Catholic sisters, with the hope of developing the next generation of lay leaders in ministry.

Monthly Workshops

Held virtually on Thursdays from 1-4 p.m., our monthly workshops will cover topics that relate to ministry in mission-driven organizations, social justice, prayer practices and spiritual development. Monthly workshops will begin in August 2021 and continue until May 2022.

Sister Companion

Participants will be matched with a sister companion who will serve as a mentor and adviser throughout the program, providing intergenerational formation around faith, spirituality, and ministry. They will also work together to develop a mission integration project for the participant’s school or organization.

Mission Integration Project

Participants will work in partnership with their sister companion to develop a project or program that will enhance mission integration at the participant’s organization. Participants will receive a one-time grant to implement their plans.
