Continuous learning is a guiding principle of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland

We aim to sustain a comprehensive evaluation and learning infrastructure to ensure staff and stakeholders make data-informed decisions and take action in support of the foundations mission, vision and values.

As part of this commitment, we:

  • Align anticipated evaluation and learning results and outcomes with the Theory of Change.

  • Collect, analyze and interpret evidence that demonstrates effectiveness and completion of program activities and outputs.

  • Organize information and evidence appropriately to improve practices and strategies and facilitate reporting, reflecting and sharing.

  • Generate knowledge to inform internal and external stakeholders on progress toward evalution and learning outcomes.

  • Contribute to field understanding of improving the lives of people living in poverty by sharing results and potential implications through multiple platforms.

  • Regularly revisit and adjust anticipated evaluation and learning results and outcomes to ensure decisions and actions are mission driven.
