Making Nursing School & Continuing Education More Affordable
Cleveland—and the nation—faces a critical demand for nurses and frontline caregivers. While there’s great opportunity in this career path, getting trained through nursing school or continuing education can be very expensive. The Sisters of Charity Health System in partnership with Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland is committed to meeting this need while creating pathways to socio-economic mobility for residents of Cleveland’s Central neighborhood and Cuyahoga County. Through the generosity of the Hines Trust, this new grant will help pay for community members entering or advancing in the nursing profession.
