The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland today announced the appointment of two new members of its staff: Adrienne R. Mundorf, MPH as senior program director and Erica N. Chambers, MPH as program officer, health.

Krey, president of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland. “Adrienne brings to us an impressive record of successful programs, published research and thoughtful public policy efforts to improve food access and nutrition in New Orleans and across Louisiana. And, Erica adds important health equity and community engagement experience from right here in Cleveland. Their talents complement the strategic priorities of the foundation and their perspectives will be invaluable to our growth.”
As senior program director, Mundorf will develop the next iteration of the health agenda of the foundation, building upon its work in healthy eating and active living to take bold new steps to address health disparities in the community. Additionally, she will extend her deep experience in strategy formation, program design and evaluation to all of the foundation’s focus areas: improving health, ending homelessness, leading a Promise Neighborhood and supporting ministries of Catholic women religious.
Mundorf’s most recent position was at Tulane University, where she served in a dual role as senior program manager of the Global Community Health & Behavioral Sciences Department and as policy and advocacy manager at the Tulane Prevention and Research Center. Her work included managing and publishing research on evidence-based strategies to improve health; leading a local food policy council to improve equitable access to healthy food; and supporting a portfolio of grant-funded projects related to healthy food access, school-based nutrition and more.
Mundorf holds a Master of Public Health, Community Health Sciences, Nutrition from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science from Kalamazoo College.
As program officer, health, Chambers will work to advance the Sisters of Charity Foundation’s strategic goals through an equity lens with a special emphasis in addressing health disparities. Her portfolio will include healthy eating and active living, infant mortality and economic development strategies to impact the social determinants of health. Most recently, she served as the community health coordinator of the Case Center for Reducing Health Disparities at the MetroHealth System. In this role, she led a multi-sector coalition in advancing healthy eating and active living in urban neighborhoods; performed grant writing, project management and evaluation for a portfolio of youth development and health programs; and served as a community engagement adviser. Previously, she served as a health equity local improvement adviser for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and research project coordinator at the Case Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods.
Chambers holds a Master of Public Health from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science, Human Ecology from The Ohio State University.

We’re excited welcome Adrienne and Erica as talented partners in this vital work.”
Mundorf’s first day with the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland will be August 1, and Chambers’ will be July 18.
